Protect data while software uses it. Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) isolate sensitive code and memory; Intel Software Guard Extensions (SGX) provide application-level enclaves. Remote attestation gives another party evidence about the software and platform before it trusts an operation.
Separate data processing, key custody and authorization. CIFER brings post-quantum encryption and distributed key shares into developer workflows. Its Blackbox processes submitted data; the engineering question is what each component can access, and under whose authority.
Build systems whose components can coordinate across independent machines. TERNOA’s public enclave implementation connects protected execution with peer discovery, synchronization and distributed infrastructure. The work is as much about trust and failure handling as it is about consensus.
